Technology & Supoort
- Oxygen, moisture, light, aroma and chemical resistance are selected according to product sensitivity, required shelf life and distribution conditions.
- Film sealants, pouch seals, glands, spouts, taps and connectors must work as one system to protect the pack through filling, handling and use.
- Packaging is reviewed against filling method, sealing window, pasteurization, retort, aseptic processing, cooling, line speed and equipment interfaces.
- Puncture resistance, flex-crack resistance, drop and vibration conditions, stacking and long-distance transport can be considered when selecting and validating the pack.
- Where technically and commercially feasible, PolyX can explore downgauging, simplified structures, lower-material formats and designs intended to improve recyclability - without compromising essential performance.
- A new structure should move through documented samples and trials before full conversion. PolyX helps define the evidence needed for a controlled decision.
